For instance, in 2013, 15 trainees from Tibet were sponsored by Pritzker Family from the United States to hone their technique in Guo's academy and other top institutions in Beijing on fresco restoration.

According to Ngakang Chozen, the monastery considers to light up the area in the future and resume its function before the 18th century as prayers' passage.

"No matter how delicate the frescoes are, their significance can be reflected via being worshipped," the lama said.
