Dianna Agron thinks Lindsay Lohan's life is "really sad".

The 'Glee' star - who has previously dated British actor Alex Pettyfer - would never want to give too much away about her personal life because she would not want to end up like the troubled 'Machete' actress, who has been in rehab multiple times.

She said: "It's really sad looking at people like Lindsay Lohan. She's an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life."

The blonde beauty - who plays bitchy cheerleader Quinn in the musical TV show - believes seeing Lindsay's career in trouble has inspired her to not make a lifestyle out of partying and is keen to avoid being seen as a clubber.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "People start not being able to look at you in the same way professionally. I don't want that to happen to me."

The 25-year-old star recently revealed she has never been happier with her personal life since dating 'Gossip Girl' star Sebastian Stan.

She said: "I'm the happiest that I've ever been. Ever. High school, middle school-I've loved every part of getting older and growing, but I definitely think that this is the most I've ever felt like myself and that I'm being treated like who I feel I am."
