Joe Jonas is hoping to rekindle his romance with Taylor Swift.

The 22-year-old singer - who allegedly ended his previous relationship with the country music star via a 27-second phone call in 2008 - is said to be desperate to prove to the blonde beauty that he's a "changed man".

A friend of the star told Us Weekly magazine: "He wants her back. He wants to show her he's a changed man and would love to see what's possible between them.

"They're putting their past behind them. And maybe rekindling an old flame."

However, Taylor - who has since dated Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal - might not be too thrilled at the idea, as she has previously admitted she doubts she'll even remember who Joe is when she eventually finds the love of her life.

She said: "You know what it's like, when I find that person that is right for me, he'll be wonderful. When I look at that person, I'm not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.

"I looked at the call log, it was like 27 seconds. That's got to be a record."
