Heidi Klum and Seal have always had a "passionate relationship".
The supermodel and the 'Kiss From A Rose' singer announced their separation earlier this month after almost seven years of marriage and while sources close to the couple have claimed they had furious rows on a recent ski trip to Aspen, Heidi admitted they always had a fiery marriage.
In an interview with Britain's InStyle magazine conducted before the split, Heidi said: "To me, his beautiful face, great body, amazing heart, voice, his ability to be a loving, caring person and father, what can I say? He can be mad too and I have a lot of fun with him. He's off the cuff. He's not fixed in his ways. And he knows how to handle me. It's always been really passionate between us."
Heidi also revealed the attraction between the couple was instantaneous when they first met in The Mercer Hotel in New York City, when Heidi was pregnant with her daughter Leni, who Seal later adopted.
She said: "We locked eyes and, well, we were immediately attracted to each other. He'd come into the hotel from the gym and he was sweaty and wanted to take a shower. I said, 'No, stay with me. I don't mind.' And he said, 'No, but I'll be back.' And he did go to his room. And he did come back. And knowing him now, he was very fast and he's a man who usually really takes his time. So now, I know he really wanted to come back."
