Sandra Bullock is suing a watch company.
The 47-year-old actress has filed a lawsuit in Santa Monica, California, against ToyWatch USA for using her name to promote a diamond-encrusted white-band watch - and she alleges it is being advertised as the same gadget she wore in her Oscar-winning role in 2009 movie 'The Blind Side'.
Sandra also claims her publicity rights have been infringed as a result, and she's asking a California judge for financial compensation, as well as an injunction, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
According to the lawsuit, which has been obtained by the website, Sandra "will not voluntarily appear in print or other media for a company or product unless she carefully selects and believes in the company and product, and unless the compensation she receives is commensurate with the value of the exploitation of her name, image, identity, and persona."
The brunette beauty - who has a two-year-old son, Louis - also says her name has a substantial commercial value, and details her credits in the documents.
But she is not said to be asserting any claims on false advertising under the Lanham Act or trademark infringement, as some stars have done in similar cases in the past.
