Taiwan pop icon Jay Chou has written the theme song for First Time, a romantic comedy starring Hong Kong actress Angelababy.

Angelababy, 23, has been a big fan of Chou since she was a little girl. Joining showbiz, she says, is a dream come true.

The film's lead actor Mark Zhao sings another song written by Cindy Yen, an artist from Chou's music studio.

The film will premiere on June 8, around the same time Chinese high school students take their college entrance exams. Director Han Yan says he hopes the film will provide two relaxing hours to young audiences after such an important exam.
