The three-day Midi Music Festival, which was held at Shunyi Olympic Water Park earlier this month, attracted more than 60,000 audience members and gathered established musicians, including Chinese godfather of rock 'n' roll Cui Jian and the band Tang Dynasty.
On the last day of the festival, Zhang Fan, the head of the event, announced Midi Music Festival will proceed to Guizhou Huaxi Park in the southern part of Guizhou province from Aug 23-25.
Supported by Guizhou Changsheng Forestry Group, it will be Midi's first show in the country's southwestern area.
