An insider told Us Weekly magazine: "They are ready to get married," and added celebrations were due to kick off yesterday (16.10.12).
Another source told Life and Style magazine guests do not even know the exact venue beforehand and "were told just to fly to Italy".
The source added: "Save-the-dates went out in the spring and little information was given. Guests were warned that any phones or cameras would be confiscated, so best to leave them at the hotel."
The couple have been dating for five years and engaged for ten months, Justin proposed during a Christmas holiday break in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
In February sources said the couple had been meeting with a wedding planner and Jessica, 30, had reportedly "told Justin she wants to get married outside at sunset".
The 'Total Recall' actress was also seen in a bridal boutique in Paris "in a really good mood" earlier this month.
Justin also had a bachelor party in September, which started in Las Vegas and made its way to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
