In this exhibition, there are a lot of items made of ivory, which can also illustrate the delicate craftsmanship of ancient Chinese people. The ivory ball (pictured), made during the Qing Dynasty, will attract the most attention from visitors. The sphere on the top has 21 layers of smaller concentric balls, all of them movable and decorated with openwork patterns. It is also placed in the middle of the exhibition hall.
