"Austrian food products are the new Mozart, as both have had a huge positive impact on the public image of Austria," said Dr. Martin Glatz, Commercial Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy Beijing during the Cheese Tasting event held last week at the Kempinski Hotel Lufthansa Center in Beijing.
Over 60 industry peers participated in the tasting event, savoring cheeses produced by six companies, all of which are ready to cater to the different needs in the Chinese cheese market.
For the fast food industry, cheese company Deromond Gmbh is ready to offer Chinese customers its processed cheese that has mild flavors in general while Die Kasemacher Gmbh will satisfy needs of restyled cheese, or cheese antipasti, which combine fine cream cheese with exquisite vegetables and fruits.
