Great journalist with clear mind

"Li Xing, how are you?
I just want to mention how much I appreciated your covering of the Translators Association Congress recently, and your piece on the Chinese students who "work for their studies" in the US.
I never skip an article about education and about language, my two main fields of interest.
Hope all is fine with you there.
How long will your "mission" in the States last?
This was my last e-mail to Li Xing, sent one day before she died. Li Xing's death is a deep shock for me, and I would like to pay a public homage to the great journalist she was, a clever woman with a clear mind.
My condolences to her family.
