I have just returned to Australia from a 28-day tour of China after visiting many cities, from Shanghai down to Yangshuo and Kunming, up to Chengdu and Xi'an and onwards to Beijing, and to other cities and places in between. I wish to thank the many hundreds of people who made my visit a most enjoyable and heart-warming experience.
Nowhere in my world travels have I met more genuine, likeable and amiable people than the Chinese, who were always willing to help make my journey a safe, interesting and mutually understanding interaction of different cultures.
