Roaring waves surge forward along the Qiantang River in Haining, East China's Zhejiang province, Sept 12, 2011. The surging waves reached a height of 1.4 meters, creating a spectacular scene. Thousands of tourists rushed to the dike of Qiantang River to watch the magnificent tide, which usually occurs around the Mid-Autumn Festival (15th day of eighth lunar month). Local police will close some areas between Sept 14 and16, after some spectators were injured in August. [Photo/CFP]
