Chen Siqing was born in Changsha in Central China’s Hunan province and first became interested in photography in 2008. He is keen on capturing beautiful natural sights and does so with a beautiful finesse despite not having any professional training on photography.
Chen, who believes photography has the function of influencing sentiment and purifying the mind, traveled to India from January to February 2013.
"Indians display a better mental outlook than Chinese, even though the country’s economic development lags behind China,” he said. “Moreover, local people do a good job on environmental protection as they have a strong awareness of animal protection.”
