The painting, Dream back to England, is 18 meters long and will be transported to the UK in July for the upcoming Olympics.

Liddell was a Scottish missionary born in Tianjin, and he won the men's 400 meters at the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris. He came back to his birthplace and worked as a teacher. He is known in China as Li Airui. He was extremely popular among his students and was also known for his spirit of generosity. He died at a concentration camp set up by the Japanese in Weifang during World War II.
