Liu Xiang
Wo Shi Liu Xiang (I am Liu Xiang), published by Shanghai Sanlian Book Store in 2004.
Liu Xiang became the favorite of Chinese publishers after he won the first Chinese men's track and field gold medal in the 110-meter hurdles at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
Liu finished his autobiography at the end of 2004. As opposed to other publications that glorify the athlete, Liu's book invited his teachers, coaches, classmates and teammates to describe his development. The book discloses many stories previously unknown to the public, plus 200 photos.
Tian Liang
Zui Liang De Shi Mi (The Perfect Dive), published by Writers Publishing House in 2006.
Tian Liang was named China's "diving prince" after he won the gold medal in the men's 10-meter platform at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
The retired diver, who has collected more than 70 gold medals in domestic and international tournaments, narrates a series of stories about family, friendship and his diving career in the book.
He also reveals his friendship with China's female Olympic winner Guo Jingjing.
