Djokovic to finish year as world No 1

LONDON - Novak Djokovic will overtake Roger Federer in the ATP rankings and finish 2012 as world No 1, the ATP said on Monday.
The Serb lost his top postion to Federer in July after the 31- year-old won Wimbledon, but he will return to No 1
next week.

Federer, as defending champion, was beaten in Swiss Indoors final and pulled out of Paris Masters which kicked off on Monday.
The 25-year-old will become the first player to finish consecutive years at No 1 since Federer.
