Game two of the playoff series between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks was a tale of two games. The game opened up with a hotly contest battle, staying marginally close until the fourth quarter. Iman Shumpert reenergized and rejuvenated the MSG home crowd with an electrifying dunk in the first half. The third quarter score of the Knicks' 72 to the Pacers' 66 was fairly close before the Knicks finally pulled away and never looked back in an explosive fourth quarter, outscoring the Pacers in an onslaught of 30 points to 2 and finishing the game 105 to 79.

Paul George scored 20 points for the Pacers, who had a two-point lead and momentum when coach Frank Vogel called timeout with a little more than 3 minutes left in the third quarter.

David West scored 13 points for the Pacers, who committed 21 turnovers that led to 32 points, negating their height advantage that loomed so large in their Game 1 victory.

Carmelo Anthony, frustrated by the Pacers'staunch defense in game one, scored with ease the second time around finishing with 32 points, 16 of which came during the fourth quarter demolition of Indiana. Finally breaking out of his accuracy slump, Anthony went 13 of 26 on the night. As the fourth quarter came around, cheers of "MVP” were aimed at Carmelo with every shot he made.

Iman Shumpert and Raymond Felton both finished the game with 15 and 14 points respectively, with Shumpert delivering a memorable dunk in the first half.

Both Kenyon Martin and Pablo Prigioni finished the night with 10 points apiece. More notable was the play of Pablo Prigioni, who finished 4 for 4 on the night, making two 3-pointers. As the fourth quarter came around, the chants of "Pablo! Pablo!” filled the arena as he opened the final quarter up with a three pointer, before Carmelo put the game out of reach for Indiana.

Game 3 of the series will be held on Saturday, May 11th at Indianapolis.
