The Kiteboard Tour Asia China 2012/2013 Tour Finals will be held on Pingtan, Fujian province, from Thursday to Sunday.
Famous for its large wide sand beaches, stunning coastline and strong winds, Pingtan successfully hosted a KTA event last year, which attracted thousands of kiteboarding enthusiasts.
This year, more than 100 riders from over 20 countries will compete for KTA tour freestyle and course race championships during the four-day event.
Kiteboarding is a surface water sport combining wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding and gymnastics. The KTA China is a 50-point International Sailing Federation World Ranking race event.
