China wins AFC Fair Play Association of the Year award

KUALA LUMPUR - China won the AFC Fair Play Association of the Year award, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced here on Tuesday.
China have accumulated 606 fair play points, more than any others in the confederation.
Fair play points are given to all national and club teams participating in AFC competitions. Points are awarded for positive play, conduct on and off the field and the behavior of supporters at the stadium and deducted for the number of red and yellow cards received in a match.
Chinese Zhang Jilong, member of FIFA executive committee, presented the accolade to the Chinese Football Association Vice-President Lin Xiaohua at the award ceremony.
