LEICESTER, England - Manchester City could be without top scorer Sergio Aguero for up to two months because of the right calf injury he sustained against Arsenal at the weekend.
City manager Manuel Pellegrini said Tuesday that he has been told by doctors that Aguero will be out "at least one month or eight weeks."
If it is the worst-case scenario, Aguero may even be a doubt for the first leg of City's Champions League last-16 match against Barcelona on February 18.
Aguero has scored 19 goals in 20 games for City in all competitions this season.
Pellegrini was speaking after City's 3-1 win at Leicester in the quarterfinals of the League Cup.
