Guangzhou Evergrande claimed a fourth successive Chinese Super League title after drawing 1-1 with Shandong on Sunday.
Marcello Lippi's Guangzhou Evergrande needed just a point from its final match of the season against Shandong on Sunday to claim a fourth straight Chinese Super League title.
It was the hosts that struck first when Liu Binbin got behind the visitors' defence in the 12th minute and scored for a 1-0 Shandong lead.
But just before half-time, Guangzhou's title hopes were back on track when Elkeson equalised from long range to make it 1-1 heading into the break.
Guangzhou had a chance to take the lead in the 83rd minute, but Shandong goalkeeper Wang Dalei made a diving save to deny Alessandro Diamanti from a free kick.
Five minutes later, Guangzhou goalscorer Elkeson was denied his double by the crossbar.
It didn't matter though as the final whistle was soon blown and a 1-1 draw clinched the 2014 Chinese Super League title for Guangzhou Evergrande.
Beijing Guoan finished second and Guangzhou R&F third to clinch spots in the 2015 AFC Champions League.
