Anshun Confucian Temple in Guizhou

Stone pillars which are class A heritage/cultural property under national protection. Anshun Confucian Temple, or Fuxue Palace, is located in the northeast of Anshun, Guizhou province. Occupying about 11,500 square meters, it is a large-scale, solemn and elegant ancient structure with precise arrangement. It is made predominantly out of stone and features carvings. It is more than 600 years old, but as a rare, well-preserved ancient stone caving facility, it still attracts many tourists.[Photo/Xinhua]
