K-pop star Kwon Ji Yong — better known as G-Dragon — will host an essay-contest winner at his Dukyang studio in Seoul via the home-sharing website, Airbnb.
Visitors to www.airbnb.co.kr/gdragon can submit essays under 300 words or characters in Chinese, Japanese or Korean about how they'd communicate with someone from a different culture before midnight of Aug 29 (Korea time).
Five winners will receive economy-class round-trip tickets to Seoul and stay in the studio for two nights. The pop star will show them his favorite places in the city, join them for a dinner and leave reviews on their Airbnb profiles.
G-Dragon says he's thrilled to play host and looks forward to offering unique experiences.
Airbnb boasts more than 1.5 million listings worldwide, including domes, castles and treehouses. It's the first the first time the company has staged such an event in Asia.
