Beijing's luxury hotel Park Hyatt opened a new spa center Tian Spa recently.
Perched on the 59th floor of the Beijing Yintai Center, the spa is 217 meters high in the sky. The space boasts an interior design by Gary Chang, a renowned artist and a frequent guest of the hotel.
With its simplistic and modern design, the spa is intended to convey tranquility and peacefulness, said Paul Wright, general manager of the hotel.
"The idea behind the spa is to create a sense of being in the sky and to achieve the sense of being elevated," he said.
