Loan to SF property projects nears completion: Mayor

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee announced on Thursday his planned trips to China this year, which will be in the beginning of April and June.
He told China Daily that a loan of up to $1.7 billion from China Development Bank to finance two major SF housing projects being developed by a US consortium appears to be nearing completion within 30 days.
He also revealed the plan to open the third office of ChinaSF, an initiative of the city government for economic development between two sides, in Guangzhou. ChinaSF had set up two offices in Beijing and Shanghai .
