After the show of "A Legend: SaiJinhua", reciving the standing ovation from more than 2000 audience, the leading actress Liu Xiaoqing holds the congratulatory letter with Yuan Nansheng,consul general of the People's Republic of China (PRC) in San Francisco, and has a group photo with cast and crew in Cupertino, California, on Saturday night. On left of Yuan is Wang Xiaoyu, husband of Liu Xiaoqing, a successful businessman and a 3-term member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. SaiJinhua, a courtesan lived in the late Qing Dynasty with tough and spectacular life, legendary and controvesial, has a unique position in modern history of China. Liu Xiaoqing is widely considered as the most suitable actress to interpret SaiJinhua on stage nowadays. According to Yuan Nansheng, this is also the largest overseas touring stage-show from China after the founding of PRC. Next stops of A Legend include Houston and New York.
