Lovers might not realize eight in 10 roses they hold in hands on Valentine's Day come from Kunming Dounan Flower Market in Yunnan province.
More than 10,000 traders exchange between 10 and 12 million flowers every day at Dounan, China's largest terminal market for cut flowers. The market provides 70 percent of China's flowers annually, according to Yunnan Flower Association (YFA).
China Daily reporter Feng Xin takes you to explore the market and talk to some of the flower traders.
