Extremely loopy drivers

At the X-Games, an extreme sports competition, two drivers did something that had never been done before. Back in the day, small toy cars called Hotwheels were popular among kids. And these guys made every kid's Hotwheels dream come true. Not every country appreciates extreme sports like the United States. And the ones that do may not be so professional.

Extreme weather

Extreme weather has hit the US this week. Fires are burning and heavy rains are flooding cities. Sounds horrible, right? Not if you’re this guy, who thought to himself, "A tropical storm? Perfect day to go kite surfing at the beach!" Could the weather get any worse?

Extremely odd sea creatures

This week, a photographer snapped a photo of a pink dolphin swimming around a lake. Pretty cool. And in case you weren't sure, the US government assured us this week that mermaids, in fact, do not exist.

This wacky world!

A toilet theme park opened in a city just outside of Seoul, South Korea. It apparently has all different types of historic, modern and rare toilets as well as fun facts about poop. Sounds delightful.

Smoking hot actress Katie Holmes filed for divorce from her creepy, scientologist husband, Tom Cruise. This will be Cruise's third divorce, and the weird thing is that all three relationships ended when the women were 33 years old. Maybe he should start dating women who are 34 and older.

Scientists are very close to proving the existence of the Higgs boson, better known as the "god particle". The discovery would prove that some of the most important theories in physics are true. After reading about it all week, I still don't understand exactly what it is.
