Yan Li, director and professor of the Confucius Institute at the University of Waterloo, illustrates the forum theme of “Our Quilts: One World-Same Dream” as symbols of multiculturalism in Canada and China. No matter what ethnicity we are, she said, we share the same feelings and emotions, and literature transcends languages, ethnicities and races.
