Residents of the city of Yangzhou, in Jiangsu province, have been experiencing high temperatures over the last few days, and the mercury reached 35℃ on Sunday. The scorching sun has turned the city into a huge sauna, and some people have opted to remain indoors. However, not everyone can stay at home – and the photos below offer a glimpse of workers carrying out their duties in the scorching heat.
