The three-day China Brand Show, which was organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and opened in Sao Paulo's Anhembi Convention and Exhibition Center on Nov 18, attracted 111 companies from more than 10 provinces and cities in China. Exhibits include home appliances and consumer electronics, auto parts, solar lighting and building materials. Chen Xi, Chinese Consul General in Sao Paulo, said the expo has brought sound Chinese brands into Brazil and provided more possibilities for future cooperation. Jia Guoyong, deputy director at the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, said that it was the first time the ministry held a expo in Latin America and that more than 3,500 local dealers had registered for the event to seek cooperation with Chinese brands. He hoped the expo would serve as a bridge for Brazil and China and a platform for trade. Photo by Wang Zhengrun / Xinhua |
