Modi to visit France, Germany, Canada next month

NEW DELHI - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a three-nation tour of France, Germany and Canada next month, the External Affairs Ministry has announced.
"The prime minister will arrive in France on April 9. He will interact with different sections of French society as well as the leadership there," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin told the media here Wednesday.
Modi will arrive in Germany on April 12 and be there for two days before departing for Canada, the spokesperson said.
"In Canada, the prime minister will meet his Canadian counterpart Stephen Harper before winding up his tour on April 16, " he said.
