6. Music ahead — MARKHAM

Liang Erhei, composer and president of the Chinese Artists Society of Toronto, speaks at a press conference on Jan 7 in Markham. He announced that the 2015 Spring Festival Concert is to be staged on Jan 24 at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. The concert will feature performances of Chinese traditional and Western classical music. Part of the proceeds from the concert will go to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital. NA LI / CHINA DAILY
