VIENTIANE - A road accident in North Laos kills four people, including two Chinese aboard an international bus bounding from Lao capital Vientiane to Kunming, China on Sunday night, the Chinese embassy in Laos said Monday.
The international bus from China, plated "Yunnan AR05278", altogether with 11 people on board, lost control and fell down dozens-meter-deep cliff due to heave rain fall in Meuang Nan District of Luang Prabang Province, some 220 km north of Vientiane, at 2100 (GMT 1400) on Sunday night.
The accident kills four people, including two Chinese and two Lao nationals, while leaving the other seven with minor wounds.
The wounded are treated in Luang Prabang international hospital.
