Trailblazing politician has new book - New York

Mae Yih, a former member of both houses of the legislature of Oregon, introduces her newest book, East Meets West: A Bridge to Understanding, Friendship, Trust, Peace and Prosperity Between My Mother and Adopted Countries, in which she describes her journey from a childhood in China to her immigration to America to the events that led to a successful career in politics, at the Museum of Chinese in America in New York on Tuesday.
