Act is a piece in which three men act out in different constellations, relationships and emotional circumstances. The piece is rhythmical, powerful but also sensitive. The Berlin-based Tanzcompagnie Rubato with an international cast has created a physically demanding, forceful but sensible choreographic work, presenting the body as a political engine, as a motor for political changes. The dancers bodies are the focus, reflecting physical manifestations of contemporary protests, rebellions and revolutions as the piece develops its own movement and dance language.
