The musical is set in the 1920s in Republican China. Hui Man-keung is a Yenching University graduate who served three years in prison for participating in the May Fourth Movement student protests. He decides to make a fresh start in Shanghai, where he meets and befriends Ting Lik, a fruit vendor. He invites Ting to be his partner after seizing the executive position in a small-time gang. He also builds up a good relationship with Fung King-yiu, a wealthy tycoon and gang boss, after saving Fung's daughter, Ching-ching, from being held hostage. Later there goes a love triangle among the three people.

DVBBS entering the scene in 2013 with the No 1 club track of the year, the Canadian brotherly DJ/producer duo have catapulted themselves into the most happening genre of the music industry at this moment in time.

At first the producer of the track was not revealed. The single had been popular at festivals for months prior to its official public release. The official release was later that month through Sander van Doorn's DOORN Records.

Their recent track Gold Skies, a collaboration with Sander van Doorn, Martin Garrix and Aleesia, topped the Beatport charts without any exception. A total of 5 No 1's in Beatport's main chart and platinum records in over 10 countries are the result of DVBBS' world domination! Performing at the biggest club shows and festivals all over the world, including Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, EDC-Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Made in America and their own Never Stop The F*cking Rave World Tour, DVBBS secured their place as a global phenomenon.
