Coriolanus tells about a story that the tragic hero Coriolanus is killed by the general public who ever adored him. Du Liniang tells about a legend that the pretty girl Du Liniang dreams about a handsome man Liu Mengmei and dies of extreme indulgence of missing him, and then comes back to life for her passion of love. The two respective classical characters Coriolanus and Du Linia travels through the time channel and eventually "meet" one another in 2016 when Mao Weitao, a Chinese actor, plays both Coriolanus and Liu Mengmei on the stage, triggering an introspection about life and death. Coriolanus's deathembodies the end of one's life according to Shakespeare, while Du Liniang portrayed by Tang Xianzu is a symbol of eternal life.
