ISLAMABAD - Over 40 militants were killed in different incidents in northwest Pakistan's tribal area on Friday, local media reported.
At least 10 militants were killed and five others injured when missiles hit a location in Pakistan's South Waziristan tribal area.
According to a private TV channel, a suspected U.S. drone fired missiles against a target in Barmal sub-division of south Waziristan, adjacent to Afghan border and a hometown of Tehrek-e- Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leadership.
Meanwhile, more than 30 militants were killed and several others injured when Pakistani jet fighters attacked militants' hideouts in Pakistan's Orakzai Agency.
More than 800 militants have been killed in Orakzai since Pakistani security forces started operation in the area from late March.
