Russia sends cargo spaceship to the ISS

MOSCOW - A Russian cargo spaceship has been sent to the International Space Station (ISS) on Wednesday night from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, said the Mission Control center outside Moscow.

The Progress M-06M spacecraft atop a Soyuz-U carrier rocket lifted off at 07:35 p.m. Moscow time (1535 GMT), delivering some 2.5 tons of fuel, oxygen, scientific equipment, video and photo equipment, containers with food and water and parcels for the ISS crew.
