S&P optimistic about keeping France's AAA rating

PARIS - A senior Standard & Poor's (S&P) official Thursday expressed optimism that France's triple A debt rating will be kept.
France's top-notch rating has been stable since 1975 and the S&P is confident that it would remain so, the rating agency's Europe chief Carole Sirou told RTL radio.
