MOSCOW - Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Thursday received a medical examination on his shoulder during a working visit to a hospital in the southern city of Smolensky, reported local media.
During the inspection tour in the regional clinic, Putin asked the chief doctor to examine his shoulder, saying that he injured it in the morning exercising on a training mat.
A specialist then prescribed him an ointment for pain relief, according to the Russia Today TV channel.
The 59-year-old Putin loves the martial art of judo, which he keeps practicing almost daily.
