KINGSTON - Jamaica's Prime Minister Bruce Golding will formally step down on Sunday and be succeeded immediately as premier by Education Minister Andrew Holness, Golding's office said on Tuesday.
Golding, 63, had announced last month that he would step down, citing as a key reason the fallout from his handling of a US request for the extradition of a notorious Jamaican gang leader.
