Hundreds of rebels die in S Sudan

KHARTOUM - Hundreds of Sudan People's Liberation Movement-north section rebels were killed in clashes with Sudanese government troops in South Kordofan state, southern Sudan, Monday, the state's governor Ahmed Haroun said.

The governor said the rebels were killed when they attacked the city of Teludi.
