Libyan rebels to unveil interim gov't within week: TV

CAIRO - Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) will announce the establishment of an interim government one week to ten days later, Chairman of the NTC Mahmoud Jibril said Sunday in the capital of Tripoli, the pan-Arab al- Jazeera TV reported.

Jibril told a news conference that all military units which had been fighting forces loyal to fallen leader Muammar Gaddafi will be brought under the umbrella of the upcoming interim government.

The interim government, on which consultations have been going on, will include representatives from different regions of Libya, including areas that are still under the control of Gaddafi supporters, Jibril said.

Meanwhile, the rebel leader said Libya started to produce oil on Saturday. He did not specified on the location of the oil fields and the amount of oil they produce, but promised more will come out in the near future.
