Loud explosions heard near int'l airport in Tripoli

TRIPOLI - Loud explosions were heard Monday near the international airport south of the Libyan capital of Tripoli, a television channel run by Libyan rebels reported.
The Free Libya TV reported that plumes of black smokes were rising from the area where the blasts occurred.
It is not immediately known what caused the explosions and whether they have resulted in any casualties.
