S. Korean coast guard boat capsizes, 3 missing

SEOUL - A boat carrying 17 South Korean coast guard officers capsized in waters off the country's southernmost island of Jeju, leaving three missing, local media reported Thursday.

The officers were on a rescue operation for a Malaysian-flagged cargo vessel, according to Yonhap News Agency.

The Jeju coast guard is searching for the missing officers.
