MOSCOW - A gunman killed five people in a shooting spree at a warehouse in northeast Moscow on Wednesday, local media reported.
"Five people, three men and two women, were killed in a shooting incident at around 10:00 am (0600 GMT) at a warehouse in Chermyanskaya street, northeast Moscow," RIA Novosti quoted the Investigative Committee as saying.
Meanwhile, two people were injured, and were receiving medical treatment.
The committee said the suspect had been arrested by the police who rushed to the scene. The police have also found the weapon of murder on the spot.
"A suspect has been detained and is being questioned. According to initial information, the suspect committed murder with a Saiga and a Benelli rifle," the committee said.
According to local media, the suspect and the victims were all employees of a pharmaceutical company. A further investigation into the incident was underway.
