German entrepreneur Hermann Ramke has drawn inspiration from Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear, and created a water powered jetpack that can reach an altitude of 50 feet, has a top speed of 30mph, and can travel almost 200 miles. The Jetlev-Flyer uses water pressure to create a flying aid that Ramke claims will stay aloft for hours. A floating pump powered by a 150 horsepower four stroke engine sends water through a 140-foot hose to a pair of nozzles mounted on the jet pack. [Photo/IC] |
